The 2025 Bear Lake Triathlon & Duathlon is a premier, long running athlete and family-friendly event. It tends to be seen as the season opener for triathlon in West Michigan. This event is embraced and fully supported by the City of North Muskegon and its departments (Police, Fire & Rescue and DPW), Muskegon County Sheriff Marine & Road Patrol Divisions, Muskegon County Road Commission, White Lake Twp. Fire & Rescue, North Muskegon Public Schools and North Muskegon Schools Athletic Boosters.

•    Sprint Duathlon:        5 K run / 20 K bike / 5 K run

If you are in between the ages of 6-11, you can take part in this fun and exciting event! Our youth duathlon event will be held at Ada Park in Ada Township. This beautiful new location allows for a full-contained event!

The Grand Rapids Kids Duathlon, presented by Cascade Pediatrics, is a bike-run event consisting of a paved trail bike followed by a field run.

Our event began in 2012 and has been held every year since. It has been a “Splash and Dash” as well as a kids triathlon all the while being part of the larger Grand Rapids Triathlon, which is Michigan’s largest independent triathlon. This year we decided to change things up and take advantage of our great new venue for the triathlon event at Ada Park. A youth duathlon is a perfect event to get kids moving and introduced to multisport!

Tris4Health is proud to welcome Indiana’s longest-running triathlon for its 45th year! This milestone event continues to showcase the enduring spirit of multisport competition in LaPorte.

Tris4Health is honored to announce their addition of the LaPorte triathlon to their events family. They extend their deepest gratitude to the Northwest Indiana Triathletes for entrusting them with this storied event, which they plan to nurture and grow for another 45 years to come.

As Tris4Health takes the helm, they want to assure participants that the core experience will remain unchanged. A few enhancements are being introduced, including the addition of an aquabike category and a streamlining of relay options. While the duathlon relays will be discontinued due to historically low participation rates, Tris4Health encourages these athletes to consider the triathlon relay category. The Tris4Health team is even offering to help connect potential relay team members for those seeking swimming partners.

Tris4Health’s vision for the event focuses on subtle elevations to the race experience through enhanced branding and expanded regional outreach across Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana. With only four Michigan athletes participating last year, Tris4Health sees tremendous opportunity for growth in cross-state participation.

The organization looks forward to preserving the legacy of this historic event while introducing it to a new generation of multisport athletes.

Celebrating their 20th year, Grand Haven Triathlon & Duathlon is the perfect place for a destination event. Looking for a perfect destination race? Check out TriWalloon, a triathlon staged in the increasingly popular Walloon Village. Swim in the pristine waters of Walloon Lake which is located between Petoskey and Boyne City, Michigan. The event consists of a sprint distance triathlon, duathlon, and aquabike that will be perfect for beginner athletes who want to attempt their first triathlon, as well as challenging enough for seasoned and elite athletes who race every weekend. Relay teams are also encouraged for the triathlon and duathlon, including male, female and co-ed.  This event makes for the ideal destination race for all.  Come for the race, stay for the weekend!

The Barrel Back Restaurant and Tommy’s Marina always serve as our gracious hosts for this family-friendly, healthy lifestyle event.

A beautiful sandy beach start from the shores of Barlow Lake, to a breathtaking ride through the rolling hills of the surrounding neighborhoods to an out & back run along the lakeshore, this is a must-do event to put on your every year. TriMillennium is a sprint and olympic distance triathlon, duathlon, and aquabike race hosted in the beautiful Millennium Park, located on the west edge of Grand Rapids.  TriMillennium is one of the local favorites for the West Michigan multi-sport community.

Located on the edge of Grand Rapids, TriMillennium is easily accessible with ample parking at the park.  Athletes and spectators alike will enjoy this race.

Whether you are a brand new athlete, or a seasoned veteran, TriMillennium is a great race for you.  The shallow waters of Millenium Park offer pleasant and calm water.  And our flat a fast bike and run courses make TriMillennium a great option for your “A” race, your first race, or anywhere in between.

For our more experienced athletes we will offer an open start wave that will send off several minutes before the rest of the pack.  This wave is meant for experienced triathletes that want to compete with others of similar ability without interfering with the newer athletes.  There is no cost to participate, just respond accordingly during registration.  Please use discretion when considering if this is for you.

Injured and can’t run?  No worries!  TriMillennium includes an aquabike option for both distances.

Terrified of the swim? Good news for you… we also have a dualthlon for our sprint and olympic distances.

Have a few of you that want to participate together.  Great!  Relay options are also available.  Racing is always more fun with friends. There really is not a good reason NOT to do this race!

For 2023, Millennium Meadows Marathon is proud to be hosting its 6th year! We will feature a Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k, and the newly added Marathon RELAY. All four events will take place Sunday, August 27th.

Wait…did you say that in 2023 there would be a Team Relay for the Full Marathon???? YES!

Secchia Meadows provides the perfect course for a team relay, with each relay leg being roughly 4 miles. Round up a team and come compete. We’ll set up a relay row, where teams can place tents and have a great time.

Millennium Meadows Marathon events occur at Secchia Meadows in Millennium Park, one of the many Kent County Parks and what we think is the most scenic and beautiful. You will run on a wide and paved path that crosses a footbridge, winds along the Grand River, and cuts through meadows. Most of the course is heavily shaded.
