Annual Brian Diemer Family Of Races

The 35th annual Brian Diemer 5K will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Legacy Christian School in Grand Rapids (67 68th St SW). The event features a flat, fast 5K course with six live bands performing along the route. Race day begins at 7:00 AM with registration and packet pickup, followed by the handcycle/My Team Triumph start at 8:28 AM and the main 5K at 8:30 AM. A kids’ steeplechase will be held on the soccer field starting at 10:15 AM.

The race offers substantial prize money for elite runners, with the open division winners receiving $550 and various prizes for masters and grandmasters divisions. Elite qualification times are sub-18:00 for women and sub-15:00 for men. As a unique tradition, any runner who beats three-time Olympian Brian Diemer wins a donut. T-shirt orders will be placed by May 26, with limited availability after that date.
