LaPorte Triathlon

Tris4Health is proud to welcome Indiana’s longest-running triathlon for its 45th year! This milestone event continues to showcase the enduring spirit of multisport competition in LaPorte.

Tris4Health is honored to announce their addition of the LaPorte triathlon to their events family. They extend their deepest gratitude to the Northwest Indiana Triathletes for entrusting them with this storied event, which they plan to nurture and grow for another 45 years to come.

As Tris4Health takes the helm, they want to assure participants that the core experience will remain unchanged. A few enhancements are being introduced, including the addition of an aquabike category and a streamlining of relay options. While the duathlon relays will be discontinued due to historically low participation rates, Tris4Health encourages these athletes to consider the triathlon relay category. The Tris4Health team is even offering to help connect potential relay team members for those seeking swimming partners.

Tris4Health’s vision for the event focuses on subtle elevations to the race experience through enhanced branding and expanded regional outreach across Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana. With only four Michigan athletes participating last year, Tris4Health sees tremendous opportunity for growth in cross-state participation.

The organization looks forward to preserving the legacy of this historic event while introducing it to a new generation of multisport athletes.
